A lifelong Californian until his optometry training brought him east, Dr. Brian Godines has always been drawn to science, service, and helping people see their best. After earning his biology degree from Pepperdine University, he completed his doctorate at the New England College of Optometry in 1997 and began a career that has taken him through nearly every corner of the profession — from retail settings to laser vision correction clinics to independent practice.

Dr. Godines’s career also includes distinguished service in the United States Navy. As an optometrist and department head for Ancillary Services at Naval Health Clinic Everett, he cared for service members and their families while developing strong leadership skills. He left the Navy as a lieutenant commander to give his own family the chance to settle into the community they now call home.
Whether he’s in the exam room, traveling with his family, or volunteering on mission trips outside Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Dr. Godines brings compassion, curiosity, and a genuine desire to help others.
